Norwich City Academy player Ben Watt has joined Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town on loan.
The 20-year-old joined the Canaries last summer, having previously been at Oxford United and Tottenham Hotspur at youth level.
Watt has been a regular for Alan Neilson's Under-21s side in the Premier League 2, and has played both in defence and in midfield.
The Iron finished seventh in the National South last season, and are currently managed by Angelo Harrop.
