For Norwich City's recent Emirates FA Cup clash at home to Bristol Rovers, the Birthday Box was donated to Norfolk Fostering Service.
Twelve children in care and their foster parents attended Saturday's FA Cup match, and were delighted with the hospitality they received including a meal and goody-bags courtesy of Norwich.
One parent said: “Coming to the game has reignited my foster child’s desire to play football. I’m looking forward to spending evenings and weekends in the damp and cold, cheering him on.”
Norfolk Fostering Service, run by Norfolk County Council, looks after more than 1200 children in care across Norfolk, working with hundreds of local foster families to give children the chance to flourish.
The donation of the Birthday Box is a brilliant thank you to these essential community heroes.
