Each home game, executive director Zoe Webber provides supporters with an update through her boardroom notes in our official matchday programme, OTBC.
Here are the notes ahead of today's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Blackpool:
We know this has been a disappointing campaign and the board, along with our management team and players, all share your frustrations.
There will be a period of review and reflection following today’s EFL Championship match with Blackpool, but our sporting director Stuart Webber will, as is customary, speak about on-field performances in due course.
This will include an analysis of our results and performances, and he will also outline our plans for next season, which we have been working on for some weeks now.
Our intention is to come back stronger, and to mount a challenge for promotion playing football that is admired and cherished by our fanbase. Stuart will talk more about that, in depth, in the coming weeks.
Although the season has ended in disappointment, our final home game presents an opportunity to show our appreciation to the players who will be leaving us in the summer.
In previous boardroom notes I have paid tribute to the enduring qualities of Teemu Pukki and we know you will show him your affection for his contribution to Norwich City over the last five years.
This is a chance to give them all the send-off that their dedication deserves.
Today we are also thanking the long service of director Michael Foulger, who is stepping down from his position on the board after more than 25 years’ service.
Michael, a lifelong Norwich supporter, became a director in 1996 and his financial lifeline to help buy Grant Holt in 2009 is the stuff of legend in Norfolk.
He will present the club’s player of the year award at today’s game and we know that Michael’s achievements will be recognised and respected by our supporters.
We are entering a new era and some of the focus will be on our young players as we prepare to establish and assemble another talented group.
Delia and Michael both attended the Lotus Training Centre recently to present Liam Gibbs with the Etty Smith young player of the year award.
This has been a breakthrough season for Liam and it is our belief that he will go on to become an important and influential figure in the first team dressing room in years to come.
Our history means a lot to people in the area and we were delighted to welcome club legend Wes Hoolahan for an established tradition to mark Max Aarons and Teemu’s 200th appearances in our club’s colours.
Max and Teemu are at different stages of their careers, but to play more than 200 games for one club in the modern era is a huge achievement.
We know our final home is not the finish you wanted, but rest assured we will do everything we can over the summer to make the necessary improvements.
Enjoy the game,
Zoe
