We have been excellent on the road in David’s first two games away, with convincing victories at Coventry and Preston.
Now we must replicate that form in our matches at Carrow Road.
We are confident that we can build momentum in home games and your support for the players is fundamental to that.
This evening’s game with Hull City is quickly followed by another midweek fixture, at home to Birmingham next Tuesday, as we prepare for the Championship run-in.
This division is so tight, but we still believe our over-riding ambition of promotion is possible.
For tonight’s game we will also be able to count on the support of around 500 new faces in the stadium as part of our ongoing commitment to the community.
Alleviating social isolation is something we attach great importance to and we are delighted that fans from all over the region will be here for the visit of Hull.
We have a huge responsibility to the area and the power of football is a force for good as we try to help vulnerable or people facing difficult circumstances through this period.
Carrow Road is an iconic venue and we are proud to support various charities within the local area as they try to help people through the winter months.
While attention is on the men’s first team this evening, I would like to mention the form and progress of our women’s team at The Nest.
They also have a run of home fixtures and they followed up last week’s thrilling 4-3 win over QPR with another game against Hashtag United at the weekend.
Our general manager Flo Allen is delighted with the increasing numbers of people heading to The Nest to watch the women’s team and they really believe the support makes a big difference.
With home fixtures against King’s Lynn and Cambridge coming up, we are sure that the team will build on their form as we enter the final stages of the season.
Tonight, it is all about our fixture with Hull City and we hope to be able to give you the result and the performance that your loyal support deserves.
It should be another excellent atmosphere and we look forward to seeing everyone back here for our Championship fixture with Birmingham next Tuesday.
