Emiliano Marcondes has shared his story behind his support and involvement in the Community Sports Foundation's latest initative, Boots for Change.

The campaign encourages supporters across Norfolk to donate football boots to various collection points to remove any barriers for aspiring players who lack the basic equipment to take part. Reflecting on his own journey into football, Marcondes said: "Growing up, I often played with very used football boots that were sometimes broken or too small. "I know what it feels like to love the game more than anything, but not have the basic equipment to play it. "That feeling never left me. "To anyone reading this who has a pair of boots they no longer need, please donate them. "It costs you nothing, but to someone else it means everything." Marcondes was also part of the campaign Shirts for Change, where match-worn shirts were collected to raise funds for children in Africa. Donated boots will be given a new lease of life through the Foundation’s recycling initiative at The Store, helping to make football more accessible for everyone. Proceeds from recycled boots will go directly towards supporting the Foundation’s vital programmes with vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged people across Norfolk.    Supporters are encouraged to bring any size boots to this weekend's home tie against Portsmouth, with collection bins in place at the Lavish Life Competitions pop-up. For those not attending Friday's match, visit the Foundation's website to find out the location of collection points around the county.
