Norwich City have completed the permanent signing of 18-year-old forward Botan Ameen from Swindon Town.
Ameen will link up with City's development squad, and has signed a contract until the summer of 2028, with an option of two further years.
On signing for the club, he said: "I'm really excited to be here, it's a big step in my journey.
"I know there's a real push on homegrown players at Norwich City, getting a lot of the academy players to play and end up in the first team and there's been proof of that.
"This move is right for me because I think I have got more developing to do and a place like Norwich with top facilities, loads of good equipment, nutrition, loads of staff to help me out and tailor my needs is perfect for that."
The Iraq youth international began his footballing journey with QPR before being released at age 16, when he was then offered a scholarship by Swindon Town.
After impressing for a year with their Under-18s, Ameen was then given his senior debut against Bristol Rovers in October 2024.
He has played 19 times in all competitions for the Robins, with four goal contributions (two goals and two assists).
