Last week Break’s GoGo Discover Trail kicked off across Norwich and Norfolk for the summer.
Norwich City have two sculptures included in the trail, with Mammoth the Match positioned in between the club shop and Yellows Bar and Grill and Ontheballasaurus inside our Fan Hub on London Street.
Our T.Rex sculpture will also be accompanied by a miniature version of itself, named Nor-Rex-City by one of our Junior Canaries.
Sam Jefferey, commercial director at Norwich City, praised the charity’s work and the trail taking place from today. “We are very proud to be supporting Break’s GoGoDiscover trail this summer.
“They are a fantastic charity, helping children and young people in care, and the trail is a great opportunity for people to explore our city and county, whilst raising money for the charity.
“We also hope our mammoth sculpture encourages people who wouldn’t usually come to Carrow Road to visit the stadium to see our new club branding, celebrating the club’s 120th anniversary."
Whilst the T.rex sculpture encapsulates some of the club’s history within our kit designs, the mammoth focuses on the wider county and is a celebration of our community.
Both sculptures give visitors the chance to unlock exclusive rewards when using the charity’s app, GoGoDiscover.
When visiting Ontheballasaurus, fans can unlock a free postcard available to collect in one of our stores. Please note these will be available on a first come, first serve basis, with only 1,000 available.
At the Mammoth the Match sculpture, visitors can unlock a 10% discount for the children’s menu in Yellows Bar and Grill. Please note there is a maximum of two discounted children’s menus per paying adult. This discount is extended until Friday, September 30.
There will also be a special reward for those who visit both sculptures before the end of the trail on Wednesday, September 28.
