Norwich City are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Caleb Ansen has signed a new one-year-deal, with an option of a second year.

The 20-year-old has been with the Canaries since Under-13s and has made appearances in both the National League North and National League this season across loans spells at Bedford Town and Braintree Town respectively.

Speaking to canaries.co.uk on signing his deal, he said: “I want to thank God for this opportunity because I've had a difficult season.

“I also want to thank the club, thank Declan [Rudd], Ricardo [Pereira] and Dan [Crofts] as well for the help to get to this point.

“It's been a difficult season for myself but obviously the club are showing their trust in me, so I want to thank them and now push on.

“I've been made to feel so welcome since I got here and it feels like home now, so I can't thank everyone enough, but as I said, we've got to keep pushing and not get too comfortable.

“Hopefully I can be in and around the first team more next season; help them out and obviously push the other ‘keepers for their spots.”
