Norwich City goalkeeper Caleb Ansen has signed a contract extension at the club until 2026, with an option of a further year.
On signing his new deal, Ansen said: "It's a very proud moment for me, I'd like to thank the club and the coaches for putting the trust in me, and the commitment they've put to me to get to this point.
"I hope it's the second of many as I continue to move forward."
Ansen is a regular for the club's Under-18s side and made his competitive debut for the Under-21s in the Premier League Cup against Wolves, and has been involved with the first-team within training and the warm-up on select match days.
"I feel like I'm developing game-by-game and learning more and more. With the help of the coaches, I feel like I'm getting better with my development.
"I've been exposed to the likes of George Long and Angus Gunn, and I learn a lot day-by-day. Paul Clements, the goalkeeping coach, is teaching me a lot too.
"The relationship with Clem is very good. He's stern on me, but that's good for me and my development It's a good relationship, and I want to build and move forward."
The 18-year-old also spoke about his style as a goalkeeper, and his goals and aspirations for the rest of the season.
"I'm a very commanding goalkeeper, I have a big presence. I like to make penalty saves, it's a big moment and I like big moments. I'm good with the ball at my feet, and my main attribute is shot-stopping.
"Hopefully I can make more appearances for the Under-21s and become a regular starter there."
