A look at former Norwich City player Teemu Pukki's inclusion in Finland's squad for the 2020 UEFA European Championships.
Born in Kotka, Pukki began his footballing career in his native Finland with KTP before a brief spell in Spain with Sevilla.
Internationally, the striker represented Finland at various youth levels before making his senior debut in February 2009 away to Japan.
Spells at HJK Helsinki, Schalke and Celtic followed before a four-year spell in Denmark with Brøndby IF.
Pukki made the switch to Carrow Road in June 2018 and scored 29 league goals in his debut season for Norwich as they were crowned Sky Bet Championship winners.
He registered 11 goals in the top flight for the Canaries, but the club were relegated at the end of the 2019/20 season.
Pukki helped Finland qualify for their first major tournament, and was called up to the final squad for the 2020 European Championship.
Finland were winners in their first group game, as they claimed a 1-0 win over Denmark. However, two defeats in St Petersburg against Russia and Belgium saw them finish third in the group and exit the tournament.
Back with Norwich, the 2020/21 Championship season ended with another title along with Pukki netting 26 times.
His final two seasons in Norfolk saw him reach double digits for goals once again, hitting 11 and 10 goals in respective seasons.
After five years at Carrow Road, Pukki departed in the summer of 2023 and made the move to the MLS as he signed for Minnesota United.
The 34-year-old scored 10 goals in 14 MLS games in his first season in the United States.
