Norwich City can confirm a pre-season friendly at Carrow Road against 2. Bundesliga side 1. FC Magdeburg on Friday, July 26.
The game is the first fixture of the Canaries' pre-season summer schedule to be announced, and will kick-off at 6.45pm (BST).
Magdeburg were promoted to the second tier of German football in 2018 and finished their most recent campaign in 14th place on 38 points. Their historic honours include a European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1974.
