A Marcelino Núñez free-kick was not enough as Norwich City had to settle for a 1-1 draw away to Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship.
David Wagner made three changes from last week's win at home to Cardiff City. Dimitris Giannoulis, Ben Gibson and Christian Fassnacht came in for Sam McCallum, Onel Hernández and Ashley Barnes.
The game's first chance fell to the hosts, as Sondre Tonstrad had an effort from the edge of the box which was collected by Angus Gunn.
Gunn was called into action once again, getting down well to deny Sam Gallagher's header from a Rovers corner.
But it would be the Canaries who would go in front. After Kenny McLean was felled just outside the area, Núñez curled into the top corner from the resulting free-kick.
Josh Sargent almost doubled the lead minutes later, as Gabriel Sara slipped the American through, but Aynsley Pears made a good stop to deny him.
Gunn stood firm to deny another Gallagher attempt, with the home side searching for an equaliser, before denying the Blackburn attacker's header shortly after.
Fassnacht had a good opportunity to double the lead early on in the second half, after the Swiss international was found by Sara, but he couldn't quite get a touch to round the on-rushing Pears.
Ten minutes into the second half, Blackburn were level. From a corner, Dominic Hyam rose highest to head in beyond Gunn.
A Sara free-kick caused problems in the Blackburn area, as Grant Hanley almost diverted the ball in.
Hernández did well to beat a marker and deliver a ball across goal, but the pass was just behind Fassnacht as Blackburn cleared their lines.
There wouldn't be a second goal for either side, as the points were shared at Ewood Park.
Norwich welcome Sunderland to Carrow Road in their next Championship fixture.
