Norwich City were beaten 3-1 by Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship on Easter Monday.
Despite taking the lead at the King Power Stadium after 20 minutes through Gabriel Sara, the Canaries would eventually succumb to a strong Leicester outfit.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall equalised before the break and Stephy Mavididi gave them the lead before Jamie Vardy scored a third in injury time.
David Wagner was able to name an unchanged lineup following on from the victory against Plymouth Argyle on Good Friday.
However, the head coach would be forced into a change in just the 10th minute when Jacob Sørensen went off injured to be replaced by Shane Duffy.
The opening goal would come for Norwich in the 20th minute when a set-piece routine involving a low corner-kick to the front post was tapped home by Sara.
The hosts tried to up it a gear in response but Norwich defended resolutely initially, a chance for Wilfried Ndidi headed over Angus Gunn's crossbar was Leicester's best in that short spell.
Dewsbury-Hall then got the equaliser just after the half-hour mark when a long delivery was headed back into the danger zone by Mavididi.
Harry Winks had the chance to complete a quick turnaround for Leicester soon after but his low effort was straight at Gunn.
Within a minute of the restart for the second half, a vital fingertip from Gunn pulled Abdul Fatawu's cross away from Dewsbury-Hall who was ready to pounce for his second.
The Norwich and Scotland first-choice made a big save to deny Ndidi just moments later too.
After a period of sustained pressure, Mavididi was the one who put Leicester in front just after an hour had been played.
The concession sparked a bit more urgency from Norwich, and Jack Stacey had a great chance in the 70th minute. He beat Mavididi down the right-hand side but could only find the side-netting.
That would be the closest Norwich came to rescuing a point as the Foxes controlled possession well.
Second-half substitute Jamie Vardy would secure the three points for the home side in injury time, tapping home from close range.
Norwich welcome Ipswich Town to Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon for another early kick-off.
