Norwich City academy defender Charlie Wilson has signed a contract extension until 2026, with an option of a further year.
Signing his new deal, Wilson said: "I'm buzzing. I've only been here a short amount of time, but to get a new deal, it's a great feeling. I'm happy to get it done and get it signed."
Wilson arrived at the club in the summer after leaving Everton, and has enjoyed his early days at a new club in a new city.
"I feel like I've settled in really well here.
"All the lads are brilliant and the coaches are as well. I feel so welcome, and it's been a positive start.
"I'm enjoying it so far, it's a nice city and all the people are great. I've not met a bad person yet!"
The defender has been a regular for the Under-21s in the Premier League 2 this season, and says he is pleased with his performances so far this season.
"I think I've started well, just getting into the team was my main goal at the start of the season. I'm just playing and enjoying my football, and I've definitely done that so far.
"As a team, we've made a positive start. We've had some good results, and results where we could've done better. Overall, I'm enjoying my start in Norwich."
Wilson highlighted Shane Duffy as a player in the Canaries squad he looks up to, and spoke about his aspirations moving forward.
"He's a great player in my position, he's experienced and played at that top level for a while. Seeing him train, he's always someone I look up to.
"I want to break into the first-team here, as I'm enjoying playing here so much. But as I said before, I want to keep improving day by day and just seeing where it takes me. I'm looking forward to the future."
