Christoph Zimmermann has departed Norwich City and completed a move to German side SV Darmstadt 98.
Zimmermann joined City in the summer of 2017 from Borussia Dortmund II.
During a five-year spell at Carrow Road the German defender would lift two Championship league titles.
Zimmermann departs the club with a total of 135 appearances and four goals in all competitions.
He was also renowned for his regular work with the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.
Sporting director Stuart Webber said: “Christoph has been a fantastic servant to this football club, both on and off the pitch. His presence will be missed.
“His commitment to the football club, his teammates and staff and the wider community has been outstanding.
“We wish Christoph and his family well for the future and look forward to welcoming him back, when the time is right, to allow supporters to properly say goodbye.”
