Norwich City's 'Greener Together' sustainability efforts were recently recognised at the British Association for Sustainable Sport (BASIS) Sustainable Sport Awards 2021.
City were one of two runners-up, alongside Southampton, for the Club Strategy / Strategic Leadership Award, which was won by Shoreham FC.
The awards highlight organisations who have introduced initiatives that reduce their environmental impacts while enhancing their social and economic influence.
Greener Together was developed alongside club partner Kotkamills in Finland to produce alternatives to single-use plastic. Already, 100,000 environmentally-friendly swaps have been made.
Furthermore, allotments for food production have been developed and hundreds of trees and plants have been planted at the Lotus Training Centre.
