The draw was conducted live on Sky Sports with City pulled out of the hat as the away team against the Premier League side.
Palace finished 10th in the Premier League last season, their highest ever finish with a joint-highest points total and their most goals scored.
The fixtures are due to take place during the week commencing August 26.
