Norwich City can confirm that the club have triggered an extension option in Emiliano Marcondes' contract.
Marcondes arrived at Carrow Road on a free transfer in October 2024 and made his debut for the club in the 4-0 win against Hull City.
The Dane opened his account for the Canaries against West Bromwich Albion, adding further goals to his tally against Luton Town, Millwall, Swansea City and Portsmouth, as well as claiming six assists.
His contract was due to expire in the summer, but an additional one-year option has been activated.
Sporting director Ben Knapper said: “Emi has made a great impact since arriving here back in the autumn.
“He’s contributed a lot and has become a key figure, both on and off the pitch.
“We’re pleased to secure him for another season and to continue working with him going forwards.”
