Norwich City Football Club are delighted to name Anglian Home Improvements as the main sponsor for The Barclay stand from the beginning of the 2022/23 season.
This new collaboration sees the two parties reignite a long-standing relationship. The club and Anglian Home Improvements were previously in partnership for more than 20 years, spanning from 1997 to as recently as 2017.
Former City players Darren Eadie and Adam Drury were joined by Anglian Home Improvements marketing director, Rachael Munby, to mark the unveiling of the new Barclay stand branding at Carrow Road.
Adam said: “Anglian have supported Norwich for many years and, as a result, have been there for some of the club’s best moments - from the Premier League to Championship winning campaigns, so it’s great news for fans to be able to welcome them back as sponsors for the 2022/23 season.”
Rachael added: “As a large employer and innovator in Norwich for over 60 years, we’re delighted to be able to provide local support by sponsoring The Barclay stand for the season with a team that is very important to the Norwich community.
“Everyone at Anglian is excited to see what this new season holds for Norwich City, and we’re proud to have the opportunity to be a part of it.”
The partnership will see Anglian make a number of tickets available to its manufacturing team in Norwich, many of which are long-time supporters of the club, as part of an ongoing rewards programme.
Sam Jeffery, commercial director at Norwich City, said: “We’re so pleased to welcome Anglian Home Improvements back as one of our primary partners from the 2022/23 season onwards. They are a prestigious local brand with strong links in the community, so it’s great that both businesses are able to come together and collaborate like this.”
Anglian was first established in 1966 by George Williams when he opened a factory in Norwich. Over the last few decades, Anglian has grown to become a market leader, transforming the homes of more than two million UK customers.
