Norwich City will remember those who have lost their lives fighting for the UK armed forces around the world at Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Leeds United at Carrow Road (2pm KO).
Two wreaths will be laid pitchside - one representing Norwich City and one from visitors Leeds. We shall then observe a minute’s silence that will start and end on the referee’s whistle, during which the Last Post will be played as a mark of respect to remember those who have lost their lives in service of their country.
The Canaries will have a poppy on their match shirts which will then be placed on auction, with all proceeds going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal to help support members and families in the Armed Forces community. Details of the online auction will follow in due course.
