Norwich City are delighted to have entered into a revised memorandum of understanding with the Canaries Trust, replacing the version signed in 2018.
As a club, Norwich City are committed to consulting with our supporters and this updated memorandum of understanding reflects the current working relationship between the club and the Trust.
Trust chairman Robin Sainty said: “The signing of the revised memorandum of understanding demonstrates the evolving relationship between the Trust and the club, for the benefit of fans.
“Since the original was signed, the Trust has continued to work with the club on multiple levels, including the recent partnership with the Foundation’s Healthy Fans initiative, and ensures that the voice of fans is heard in the Carrow Road boardroom."
The club’s executive director Zoe Webber said: “The new memorandum of understanding is the culmination of work done over the last 18 months to further develop the relationship between the club and the Trust.
“As a club, we’ve welcomed the open, two-way dialogue with the Trust on a range of club matters, all of which help direct and shape some of our decisions and wider planning, many of which have had a positive impact on our supporters.
“It is also great to see the Trust undertake more activities in our community, supporting both the club and the Foundation.”
The Canaries Trust is a part of a growing network of supporter trusts throughout the UK and the third largest shareholder in the club.
Run on a non-profit basis, the Trust supports local foodbanks and other charities while providing a voice for fans through meetings with the club.
