Norwich City are pleased to announce that they will now be offering free fruit for children on matchdays at Carrow Road, kindly sponsored by the club’s primary partner, Avant.

There will be two sites offering the free snacks, outside the FanZone at Carrow Park and outside the Regency Security Stand.

This initiative will begin ahead of Norwich City’s fixture against Sunderland on Sunday, March 12 (KO 12pm).

As part of the EFL’s Together month, the club are committed to doing all they can to assist supporters throughout the ongoing cost of living crisis.

Norwich City executive director, Zoe Webber said: “As a club, we are delighted to be able to offer free fruit for children at our home games as part of our commitment to helping with the cost of living crisis and improving the health of young people in our community.

“We have seen some great initiatives throughout the EFL’s Together month and this is another that we as a club will provide as we hope to continue making an impact in our local area.

“Special thanks must go to our partners Avant who have been strong supporters of the Junior Canaries, and are now sponsoring the fruit that will be available on matchdays.”

Raimo Ala-Korpi, managing director of Avant UK, commented: “We love the FanZone and all of the activities available there for a full matchday experience. A healthy matchday snack is a brilliant idea and we are delighted to be supporting this initiative.

“As primary partners of the club, we are very proud to lend our support to the Junior Canaries.”
