Norwich City recently welcomed a group of supporters to the Lotus Training Centre as part of a special thank you for their ongoing support and commitment.
The supporters were chosen from a group that attended every home and away first team fixture on their designated match ticket throughout the course of the club’s 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
Dean Smith opened the morning by welcoming the group of supporters to the club’s Hethersett-based site, before a tour of the facilities commenced.
Following the tour, the group then had the opportunity to ask questions to Smith and assistant head coach Craig Shakespeare, before being invited to form part of the club’s annual squad photograph.
After watching the first team’s training session, the supporters then enjoyed lunch in the first team restaurant.
Elliot King, head of supporter engagement, said: “It was great to have the opportunity to welcome the group to the training ground and give a small something back for their dedicated support.
“While we can’t thank every fan in this way, the initiative shows that the club is taking a number of steps to engage more closely with its fanbase and that it appreciates the loyal support it receives.”
