Norwich City Women play their final home game of the season against AFC Wimbledon at 2pm today (Sunday), and it’s a big one.
The Canaries are ninth in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East, two points above the relegation zone with two games remaining and a game in hand on the three teams below them.
Wimbledon, meanwhile, are third in the division, having earned 50 points from 22 games, losing just twice all season.
A Norwich win would secure survival with one game to go (away to Queens Park Rangers on Sunday, May 1).
The Canaries have recorded back-to-back wins at just the right time, doing the double over Cambridge City with 3-1 and 2-1 wins in recent weeks.
Earlier this season, Norwich came from behind to draw 1-1 away to Wimbledon.
City fans are encouraged to come to The Nest on Sunday to support the women’s team and tickets can be purchased here - .
