This month's Fosters Solicitors' Community Hero is Charlie Powles, nominated for his 1,000km cycling challenge in October, fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK.

He cycled every day throughout October, completing a total of 1,020km and raising £550 for his chosen charity.

"I was inspired to get involved because I have close family members who have experienced prostate cancer and it’s had a huge impact on our family over the years.

"It’s such an important cause that affects so many lives, particularly men, and I wanted to do my part to help make a difference.

"Being recognised by Norwich City genuinely means so much to me.

"It’s a club I’ve always supported and held close to my heart, so to receive recognition from them for something so personal and meaningful is truly special.

"It’s been amazing to feel the support and pride from family and friends throughout the challenge; it really kept me motivated and made the experience even more rewarding."

A close friend of Charlie's said: "Charlie has faced many of his own challenges over the last couple months, with his mental health suffering at times.

"We couldn’t be prouder of him and want to show him that there’s so much to live for! I know that this special recognition from his club would mean the world to him."
