Daniel Adshead has completed a permanent move to Cheltenham Town for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder joined Norwich City’s academy ahead of the 2019/20 Premier League season and made 20 appearances in all competitions across the Under-23s and Under-18s teams during that campaign.

In the summer of 2020, Adshead completed a season-long loan move to Dutch second-tier side SC Telstar, where he made 29 appearances and got four assists in all competitions.

Last season, the England youth international joined Gillingham on loan in Sky Bet League One, but returned to Norwich due to a foot injury, having made 19 appearances in all competitions for the Gills.

Towards the end of 2021/22, Adshead featured in another three of City’s U23s Premier League 2 Division Two fixtures.

Cheltenham finished 15th in League One last season.

All at Norwich City would like to thank Daniel for his contributions to the club and wish him well in his future endeavours.
