David Wright has left his role as under-23s lead coach to join the first-team coaching staff at Milton Keynes Dons.
Wright joined the Canaries in 2016, initially as a coach for the under-18s, before moving up to take over the under-23s side in 2018.
He helped aid the development of various City youngsters, including Max Aarons, Adam Idah, Josh Martin and Andrew Omobamidele, who have all gone on to feature in the club’s first-team setup.
Head of football development Steve Weaver said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank David his outstanding efforts and contributions to our academy setup over the last five years. David has played an integral role in developing both our academy structure and our players.
“He leaves with the very best wishes of all at Norwich City.”
Alan Neilson and Steve Weaver will now oversee the club’s under-23 side.
