Norwich City head coach Dean Smith has been nominated for Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for August.
With four wins in four games and a total of 13 points from a possible 18, Dean Smith has led his side into the battle for top spot this season.
The points were collected in a 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic, a 2-1 win over Huddersfield, a 2-0 win against Millwall, a 1-0 win at Sunderland and an injury time 2-1 victory over Birmingham City.
Other nominees for the award include Watford’s Rob Edwards, league leaders Sheffield United’s Paul Heckingbottom and Paul Ince at Reading.
All winners will be announced on Friday, September 9.
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
