Dean Smith named an unchanged starting 11 tonight against Bristol City in a 3-2 win over Bristol City.
“It wasn’t as comfortable as I would have liked it to have been, but you can’t expect it to be comfortable at this level. Bristol have been good this season, we watched them and knew they could trouble us if we allowed them to.”
“We got two good goals form a couple of mistakes from them, and Teemu did what he does best and I thought for 20/25 minuets we were okay. The score line probably relaxed us a little bit too much and we allowed them to play and they hurt us.”
“I was disappointed with us without the ball today, I didn’t think we moved quick enough and I think their goal summed it up. It is nice to be disappointed when we’re still winning football games.”
“We’re in a good place at the moment but tonight’s performance has to be better.
“We made our job at the end a little bit harder. We still had some chances from Teemu and Danel. They put an awful lot of balls in our box which we had to defend well and we did do that, so we saw another side of us tonight.”
Ben Gibson made his return to the pitch in the final ten minutes, replacing grant Hanley, who looked to have picked up an injury.
“Grant felt his shoulder five minutes into the second half. He had some painkillers and managed to hold off until the 80th minute, so we will have to have a look at that and asee how it goes before Saturday.”
