Delia's Canary Catering hosts December Food and Wine Workshop

Delia's Canary Catering hosted its latest Food and Wine workshop in the Top of the Terrace at Carrow Road on Thursday.

Delia's Canary Catering hosted its latest Food and Wine workshop in the Top of the Terrace at Carrow Road on Thursday.

Around 80 guests were treated to a Christmas cooking demonstration from chef Alex Mackay, who was joined by Paul Kelly from Kelly's Turkeys. Paul is the world-record holder for carving a turkey in the quickest time and showed guests how to correctly prepare their Christmas turkey.

Renaissance Vodka were also on hand to showcase their cocktails making skills before guests enjoyed their three-course dinner of:

*Starter - Grilled butternut squash, sunblush tomatoes, ricotta, grana padano, prawns, parma ham and smoked paprika toasted seeds

*Main course - Roast kelly bronze turkey with smoked paprika, roast garlic thyme clementines and double gravy and basque turkey pie

*Dessert - Cranberry and citrus pavlova with fromage frais and passionfruit sorbet

Prior to each course, guests were given various wines to taste throughout their meal, courtesy of Jason Banner from Peter Graham Wines.

That was followed by a meet & greet and question & answer session will all of the day's speakers, including our very own Delia Smith.
