Norwich City Academy forward Tom Dickson-Peters, who is on loan at Gillingham, has been nominated for December’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
The 19-year-old scored a hat-trick against Reading in a 5-2 win at the start of the month as well as the opening goal of a 4-3 win at home to Southampton.
City’s Under-23s remain second in the Premier League 2 Division Two on 26 points.
Dickson-Peters completed a loan move to Gillingham at the beginning of the January transfer window and made his debut for the senior side against Ipswich Town on the weekend.
The other nominees for the PL2 Player of the Month are Reyes Cleary (West Bromwich Albion), Joe Gelhardt (Leeds United), Sonny Hilton (Fulham), and Reece Welch (Everton).
The shortlist was chosen by the Premier League Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches nominated the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches in the month.
The panel will also choose the winner, to be announced next week.
