Norwich City midfielder Uriah Djedje has signed a contract extension until 2027, with an option of a further year.

Norwich City midfielder Uriah Djedje has signed a contract extension until 2027, with an option of a further year.

The 18-year-old has been a regular part of the Under-21s squad in Premier League 2 and scored his first goal of the season away to Bristol City in the Under-21 Premier League Cup recently.

Djedje was involved with the first team during pre-season this summer, featuring against Northampton Town, Club Brugge and Standard de Liège.

Signing his new deal, Djedje said: "It feels great. Being here for a bit longer, it makes me feel really happy. I'm really proud of what I've done during my time here. I'm really excited to see what's next, what opportunities will be here soon.

"With the new management, it shows that there is that pathway. He takes a keen liking to younger players, the likes of Gabe (Forsyth) and Elliot (Myles) have shown us the way."
