Norwich City have completed the signing of Callum Doyle on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
Doyle, 20, is a product of Manchester City’s academy and has featured for Pep Guardiola’s side during their pre-season tour this summer.
The defender, who can play at centre-back and at left-back, has prior experience on loan in both the Championship and in League One.
He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Sunderland, where he made 36 appearances in League One.
Doyle has spent the previous two campaigns on loan in the Championship, with Coventry City and Leicester City, and was part of Enzo Maresca’s title-winning squad last season.
Internationally, the 20-year-old has featured for England at various youth levels and has three caps for the Under-21s.
Joining the Canaries, Doyle said: “I’m very excited and glad that it’s finally done.
“I feel really grateful to be here and can’t wait to get started. I think we can have a really good season here.”
