Norwich City Women are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Eloise King on a professional contract.
King joins as a free agent, having played for Hashtag United during the second half of the 2024/25 season. She joined in February earlier this year and went on to make five appearances for the Tags.
Born in Bury St Edmunds, she began her footballing career with Ipswich Town, working her way up through the WSL academy after she joined at age 16.
She made nearly 100 appearances for Ipswich, making her debut in August 2019 in a friendly against Southampton.
She has also received call-ups at international level, having represented England from Under-15s to Under-19s.
King is the second player to put pen to paper, after Ellie Bishop, and will wear the number four shirt.
On signing for the Canaries, she said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have signed a contract with the club. I think it was important that I joined somewhere really ambitious; obviously the goal is to get promoted this season.
"I'm so eager to prove myself, be successful and be challenged, and I believe that coming here is perfect for that."
On the club’s latest edition, head of women’s football Flo Allen said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Eloise to the club, she is a player with real quality and experience, with plenty of room for development.
"She is a player that we were tracking for a while and I am excited to see her get to work under Andy Cook’s guidance."
