Norwich City Women are delighted to announce the signing of defender Emily Wallace from AFC Wimbledon on a professional contract.
The 23-year-old full-back joins the Canaries from the Southern Premier side after joining the Dons in the summer.
Wallace brings plenty of Tier 3 experience, having also played for Rugby Borough, Watford and Oxford United, having notably been a part of the Hornets' promotion season to the WSL2 (formerly known as the Championship).
She was also voted the August Player of the Month just weeks after joining AFC Wimbledon earlier this season.
Born in Reading, Wallace came through the academy there from age seven to 20.
On signing for the Yellows, Wallace said: "I think it's an exciting time to come down here; speaking to Flo and Andy, the project is obviously really big here and I'm really excited to be a part of it.
"I can't wait to hit the ground running, get going with the girls and see what we can do together."
On signing the new full-back, head of women's football Flo Allen said: "“We are delighted to be welcoming Emily to the club.
"She is a versatile wide player, comfortable operating on either side of the pitch and joins us with experience of playing in higher leagues.
"Her quality and mentality will be a big asset to the squad in both the short and long term.
"Emily joins us with a real hunger to make an immediate impact and, under the guidance of our head coach Andy Cook, we believe she will play a pivotal role in our promotion push."
