After an impressive month on loan at Walsall, Emmanuel Adegboyega has been awarded the EFL's Young Player of the Month for February.

The Irish defender joined the Saddlers on loan during the January transfer window and marked his league debut for the club with a goal in 2-1 win over Mansfield Town.

Adegboyega followed that up with a goal and a clean sheet on his first start for Walsall, as they claimed a 3-0 win at home to Morecambe.

The 20-year-old then recorded a clean sheet in a win away to Harrogate Town, and netted his third goal of the month against Accrington Stanley.

He is the second Norwich City player to be awarded this award during the campaign, with Jonathan Rowe winning it back in August.
