Norwich City have added attacking midfielder Emiliano Marcondes to their ranks.
Marcondes joins the club on a one-year deal with the option of an additional year, after the expiry of his contract at Bournemouth.
The Danish underage international spent his youth years with local club Hvidovre before making his professional breakthrough at Nordsjælland.
The 29-year-old joined Brentford in 2018 where his first season was upset by injury, later returning to Denmark on loan where he won a league title with Midtjylland.
In 2021, he scored the second goal in Brentford's Championship play-off final win against Swansea City, securing top-flight football for Thomas Frank's men.
Later that summer, he joined Bournemouth where he would make 21 appearances in his first season as they sealed automatic promotion, scoring five times.
The following year, he returned to Nordsjælland on loan where he would have the opportunity to work with current City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup.
He spent the second half of last season with Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership before leaving Bournemouth upon the expiry of his contract.
He has also featured for Denmark at underage level from Under-17s to Under-21s.
