Johannes Hoff Thorup officially became Norwich City head coach this week, and will be joined by Glen Riddersholm as assistant head coach.
Following the arrival of the Dane as assistant, we've taken a look at Glen's career in football so far and the experience he brings to Carrow Road.
Born in Esbjerg, the 52-year-old began his coaching career in his native Denmark with Ikast FS and later moved on to FC Midtjylland, the club formed following Ikast's merger with Herning Fremad.
After a number of years with the club, Riddersholm became manager of the Denmark Under-17s, taking charge from 2006 to 2008.
He returned to Midtjylland as assistant manager, working under both Thomas Thomasberg and Allan Kuhn.
Kuhn's resignation in April 2011 saw Riddersholm take the step up to lead the club as head coach. He spent four years in charge at the MCH Arena.
During his time as Midtjylland head coach, he guided the side to their first ever Danish Superliga title in the 2014/15 season.
Riddersholm resigned shortly after winning the title, and would later join fellow Superliga side AGF as head coach. His time in Aarhus lasted two years, before he departed the club.
In January 2019, his next move was to Sønderjyske as head coach. There he led the side to the 2019/20 Danish Cup with a 2-0 win over AaB Aalborg.
He left the club in May 2021, and would make the move to Belgium to join KRC Genk as assistant manager in November of the same year, where he worked with John van den Brom and Bernd Storck.
His most recent role within football came in Sweden, where he took over as head coach at Allsvenskan side IFK Norrköping, managing the side from August 2022 to November 2023.
Riddersholm now makes his first steps into the English game, forming part of Thorup's coaching set-up.
