Norwich City have signed Czech Republic international Matěj Jurásek on a five-year deal from SK Slavia Prague.

Born in Karvina, Jurásek came through the ranks of his home city's youth system, before joining Slavia Prague's academy in the summer of 2019.

The right winger enjoyed two years working his way up to the club's reserve side, Slavia Prague B, making his professional debut for the first team in November 2020.

Jurásek made his Europa League debut just a month later, coming on as a substitute against Bayer Leverkusen.

He then initiated a loan spell with Vlasim in the January transfer window of 2021, making 16 appearances and scoring two goals during his time with the Czech National Football League side, helping them to a sixth-place finish.

The 21-year-old then returned to Karvina for a half-season loan and Vlasim again, before returning to the Slavia Prague first team in 2022.

Across August in 2024, Jurásek was also involved in three Champions League qualifying fixtures for the Czech side.

Since his arrival to the senior squad, he has gone on to make 62 appearances with 12 goals, winning the Czech top flight title for the past two seasons.

With 11 appearances and two goals for Czech Republic Under-21s under his belt by 2023, Jurásek made his international debut for his nation's first-team in March 2024 during a friendly against Armenia.

The 21-year-old has since gone on to collect four caps for Czech Republic, scoring once in a 7-1 win over Malta in June 2024.

Before signing for the Canaries, the 2024/25 campaign has seen him make 14 appearances and net one goal.
