Ruairi McConville has made the switch to Norwich City, joining the club from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
Born in Belfast, McConville began his footballing journey with Linfield before making the move to Brighton in 2021.
Initially part of the club's Under-18s side, the defender became a regular in the Seagulls' development sides and featured in Premier League 2 and the Under-18 Premier League, as well as the FA Youth Cup.
The 19-year-old made his first-team debut for Brighton against Norwich in the Emirates FA Cup, as he replaced Adam Webster for the final 20 minutes of their 4-0 win.
McConville was also involved in Brighton's Premier League squad on a number of occasions this season, named among the substitutes seven times.
He is a Northern Ireland international. Having represented his nation at various youth levels, including captaining the Under-19s, McConville made his debut under Michael O'Neill in a 2-0 win over Belarus in the UEFA Nations League.
Three days after his international debut, he made his first international start as Northern Ireland drew 2-2 away in Luxembourg.
