The arrival of Philippe Clement as the new Norwich City head coach has also seen the arrival of fellow Belgian coach Stephan Van Der Heyden.
Like Clement, Van Der Heyden is a native of Belgium and had a professional playing career across his home country, France and the Netherlands.
Most notably, he represented Beveren and Club Brugge between 1987 and 1996. This was followed by two stints with Roda JC either side of a season with Lille in the late 1990s before ending his career with Germinal Beerschot.
He also made four appearances for the Belgian national team.
He returned to the game in 2010 as a coach with Sporting Lokeren before taking on a number of roles with Club Brugge between 2011 and 2017.
He held assistant manager roles with Vardar Skopje, Jordan and Kerala Blasters prior to linking up with Clement at Rangers in 2023.
