Head coach David Wagner, executive director Zoe Webber, and first team players Ashley Barnes and Onel Hernández formed the panel for a fan forum on Monday night.
Rob Butler and Phil Daley from BBC Radio Norfolk asked the questions in front of a packed atrium at The Forum, covering topics including the recruitment of a new sporting director, preparations and ambitions for the new season, player recruitment, talent production, and investment.
Speaking about the summer's recruitment so far, Wagner said: “I am happy with the signings we have done. We were very on the front foot to get the signings in early."
Wagner was asked about improving the Carrow Road atmosphere and stressed that it was primarily the team's responsibility:
“We need to make Carrow Road a tough place to come again. We know the role we have to play and we have to deliver performances and we have to deliver the results.”
When asked about the coming season and the club's aims, Webber said: “Every year we should be going for promotion. The Championship is tough and relentless, but promotion is achievable, and we’ve done it before. But that’s what we should strive to achieve.”
Speaking about the process of finding a new sporting director, Webber highlighted the importance of making the correct appointment:
“We’ll leave no stone unturned to find the right person; we won’t rush that process.
“We’re not about to parachute someone into the Lotus Training Centre.”
There was a first chance for fans to see new signing Ashley Barnes in the flesh as he and Hernández took to the stage for a light-hearted chat about the coming season before fans had a chance to submit their own questions to the panel.
