With additional safety measures in place for Saturday’s visit of Ipswich Town to Carrow Road (KO 12.30pm), supporters are urged to arrive early to avoid turnstile queues.
Norfolk Police have published the following home supporter information on their website; supporters should note the measures and allow extra time for travel and stadium entry:
- Travel restrictions will be in place at Carrow Railway Bridge for home and away supporters walking from Thorpe Road. Home supporters will be diverted via Hardy and Kerrison Roads and then onto Canaryfields. These supporters are asked to continue along Canaryfields towards Geoffrey Watling Way to access the stadium and not to transit through the South Stand car park.
- Home supporters walking to the stadium from the city centre will need to use Geoffrey Watling Way if they are seated in the South Stand.
- Home supporters will not be able to transit past the Holiday Inn hotel pre or post-match. All Barclay turnstiles will be open, including those next to the Holiday Inn, but supporters but must approach the Barclay from the City Stand side of the stadium.
- Following the match, home supporters in the South Stand will need to leave via Geoffrey Watling Way or take the diversion through Carrow Park to Kerrison Road and Hardy Road and then onto Thorpe Road.
Pre-match display
Thanks to supporter group One City Strong, a surfer banner will be unfurled in the Lower Barclay, while supporters in all home areas will be supplied with a yellow or green card to hold up for a pre-match display.
Wear yellow

Pre-match entertainment
Home supporters will be able to soak up the pre-match atmosphere in the supporter village outside the ticket office with a set from local band Generation 29 beginning around 11am.
