Norwich City Academy player Finley Welch says the Under-18s are confident ahead of their fixture against Manchester City on Saturday.

The Under-18s welcome their Manchester City counterparts on Saturday in the Under-18s Premier League Cup. The Canaries and City both won their first two games in the group stage, with Norwich recording victories over Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers.

"We've got to be confident going into it," he says. "We've got to try and enjoy the game, because that's when we play at our best.

"We're looking at it like it's any other game, we've just got to think positively.

"Manchester City have a lot of history, but we've fully prepared for the game. We've been working hard, been training hard and getting ready for Saturday and hopefully we get a positive result.

"We've got to think of it like it's another game, because that's what it is. It's a different type of game, that adds a little bit of pressure and anxiety but we've got to turn that into energy and make sure we're at our best.

"If we play our football, I'm very confident in us."
