As part of three Christmas visits, six Norwich City first-team players stopped by East Anglia's Children's Hospices base at The Nook.
Sam Byram, Tim Krul, Michael McGovern, Josh Sargent, Kieran Dowell and Jordan Hugill spent the afternoon with some of the families at The Nook, and handed out some Christmas gifts to the children before signing autographs and posing for photos.
Signed boots provided by Adam Idah and Aaron Ramsey were also given out during the visit.
Among those they met was Carrow Road season ticket holder Bethany Smith, a 12-year-old with Mitochondrial Myopathy.
Bethany was previously a mascot for a home game, walking out with goalkeeper Krul at Carrow Road.
Staff at the hospital were given a special hamper by the players as a thank you for their hard work during the year.
"It's something that we try to do every year, but with COVID the last few years, it's put a halt to that," Byram said.
"It's massive for the children, for their families, and for us, to come and give something back and put a smile on their faces is huge.
"It was nice to be able to introduce ourselves, chat to the families and hear some of their stories."
Groups of other players also visited the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston-on-sea and NNUH.
