Norwich City players visited children at three Norfolk hospitals on Wednesday, December 6, to deliver presents and Christmas cheer.
Gabriel Sara, Jack Stacey, George Long, Ben Gibson, Dimitris Giannoulis, Marcelino Núñez and head coach David Wagner made a visit to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, while Adam Idah, Przemysław Płacheta, Liam Gibbs, Sam McCallum, Christian Fassnacht, Hwang Ui-Jo and Dan Barden visited James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth.
At East Anglia's Children's Hospices base at The Nook, the children were visited by Kenny McLean, Jonny Rowe, Adam Forshaw, Angus Gunn and Andrew Hughes.
The players and staff surprised children and families and distributed Christmas gifts whilst posing for photographs and signing autographs.
Staff at the hospitals were also given a hamper by the players as a special thank you for their hard work during the year.
Sam McCallum spoke to Canaries TV about the day: "It's good to do your part in the community. All the patients were so appreciative of everything we did and coming to visit them. It's of massive importance to them, and to us."
Jonny Rowe described his enjoyment of getting out in the community: "It's important for us to connect with fans, connect with people who support us on a weekly basis through thick and thin, so I'm always more than happy to do things like this."
Dimitris Giannoulis added: "We're always happy when we can make the kids happy, so it was a great day."
