Gabriel Forsyth has signed a new contract at Norwich City until 2028, with an option of a further year.
Having joined the club from Hamilton Academical in 2023, Forsyth was first integrated into the City first-team this season under Johannes Hoff Thorup.
His debut for City came as a substitute against Oxford United on the opening day of the Sky Bet Championship this season before his full debut a week later against Blackburn Rovers.
The young Scot has now made seven first-team appearances but is currently on the sidelines recovering from an injury picked up against Cardiff City in early November.
Signing his new deal, Forsyth said: "It's an amazing feeling. The direction the club is going and the opportunities that I've been given, it's something I want to be a part of.
"I'm really happy to be extending my stay."
Sporting director Ben Knapper added: "We are delighted to further extend Gabe’s contract – just reward for the fantastic progress he has made in recent months.
"He’s a very talented player, and he has taken so many great steps since the beginning of pre-season. He represents so much of what we are trying to do here, and we are enjoying working with him and seeing him progress into the senior game.
"We’ve no doubt he will continue to advance further and, with his dedication and application, he is a player with a high ceiling. Well done, Gabe, and congrats to him and his family!”
