Mobility bus

We’re pleased to confirm that, with thanks to Norfolk County Council, users of the matchday mobility bus from County Hall no longer pay more than other car park users on a matchday. Those using the bus will be charged a concessionary rate of £2 for parking plus a £4 fee for the bus (must be pre-booked), meaning their total cost will be the same as all other users of the car park at £6.

Spaces on the bus must be pre-booked via Norwich Door to Door’s website here and proof of booking will need to be shown on entry to the car park in order to be charged the concessionary price for parking.

Road closure

Due to a collapsed Anglian Water sewer, a section of Carrow Road is closed to traffic. This will cause major delays in the area.

Please allow extra travel time and follow the signed diversion. We expect the closure to last until early next week.

Anglian Water are in attendance and will be working to reopen the road as quickly as possible.

People driving into Norwich should avoid going via the A1242 (Yarmouth Road) and follow the signed diversion via the A1042 (Pound Ln Ring Road) - B1140 (Plumstead Road ) - A147 (Riverside road) or via the A47 and into Norwich at Trowse.

Traffic leaving Norwich will not be affected.
