Adam Idah and Dimitris Giannoulis were the first Canaries to be reunited over the international break on Friday, June 16 as Greece hosted the Republic of Ireland in a EURO 2024 qualifying fixture.
The match took place in the OPAP Arena in Athens at 7.45pm and ended in a 2-1 win for Greece after goals from Tasos Bakasetas and Giorgos Masouras. Nathan Collins was in the right place at the right time to net one for the visitors but it wasn't enough to take any points from the qualifier.
Idah made the starting 11 for Stephen Kenny's side but was substituted early into the second half. Giannoulis was not included in the Greece squad.
The result means Gus Poyet's Sky Blues hold onto second place in Group B, with six points in total.
The Republic of Ireland remain in fourth on goal difference with 0 points following their two losses of the campaign so far.
Both sides are back in action on Monday night as Greece take on top-of-the-table France at the Stade de France in their third qualifying match and Ireland play last place Gibraltar at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
