Delia's Canary Catering held a Food and Wine workshop on Thursday, at the Top of the Terrace.
The workshop, entitled Fresh Fish and Shellfish, saw TV and The Guild of Food Writers Cookery Journalist of the Year winner Alex Mackay took guests through a cookery demonstration.
Alex, who has previously been director of Raymond Blanc’s cookery school at Le Manor aux Quat’Saisons and had his own cookery school in Provence, is an excellent guide and teacher, and after his lesson guests learned how to make the perfect cocktails before sitting down to a three-course meal paired with wine tasting for each course.
Finishing off, guests will have the chance to put their questions to a panel of experts including Delia and Alex in a Q&A session, alongside a book signing where guests can get their Delia recipe books autographed.
